Project carried out in cooperation between Kamil Wojakowski Technology and A3 Sp. z o.o.

Base vehicle: Mercedes Arocs 4451 in a four-axle configuration (1st and 2nd steering, 3rd and 4th twin axles). Mounted behind the cab is a Palfinger PK92002SH crane with Fly Jib, providing 85.5 tm lifting capacity and a maximum outreach of 34 m. The crane is equipped with a remote control console.

Subframe: box-type structure made of high-strength Strenx 700 steel, designed for maximum torsional stiffness. At the front section, a dedicated chamber was created above the protruding gearbox, along with reinforced passages for hydraulic lines. Side plates connecting the subframe to the truck frame were designed as two-piece components extending the full length, with bolted angle profiles enclosing the lower part of the frame.

Outriggers:

  • Heavy-duty rear outriggers with integrated pad holders, extending simultaneously with the supports.
  • Mid-position additional extendable toolboxes for chains and heavy equipment, customized for the client’s requirements.
  • Front outrigger with proprietary mounting and housing, reinforced with structural elements under the cab, linked to the subframe.

Platform: bolted to the subframe, fully demountable, dimensions 6.2 × 2.55 m. The deck is made of waterproof plywood, densely supported with cross members, capable of carrying high point loads. The platform is designed for transporting ISO 20” shipping containers and is equipped with twistlock couplings.

Side boards and posts: heavy-duty steel, 500 mm in height, custom three-part design with removable 90° opening limiter.

Additional equipment:

  • Platform edges fitted with multilock lashing points and integrated strap tensioners.
  • 4300 kg counterweight, removable with the crane, equipped with a presence sensor.
  • Reinforced steel front wall with chain holders, coupling device for transporting trailers on the platform, and integrated lighting.
  • Rear towing coupling.
  • Toolboxes with drawers mounted on linear bearings for easy access.
